Addiction Therapy
Paying for Treatment

Now that you’ve decided to take the first step and reach out for help, you’re ready to take the next step – entering into a full detox and recovery center. Before a newly sober addict or alcoholic can enter into an inpatient drug rehab program, he or she must undergo medical detox. Detox allows for safe withdrawal in a secure and medically monitored environment geared towards physical stabilization and a reduction of uncomfortable or potentially dangerous withdrawal symptoms. Once you figure out which drug detox program will best fit your specific needs the next step is figuring out how you are going to cover the cost. The good news is there are many options and resources all geared towards helping you get the quality and comprehensive treatment you both need and deserve. At Immersion Recovery Center we believe that treatment should be available to everyone who needs it. If you are struggling with an addiction and you are ready to take the first step on your personal journey of recovery reach out to us today. And if you are concerned about covering the cost of a professional recovery program, there is no reason to worry – we will help in every way we can.

Self-Pay Options for Detox

In many instances health insurance policies will partially cover or completely cover the length of the recovery program entirely. However, there are those who do not have health insurance as well as those who have been to detox and recovery more than once before and therefore have already reached the limit allotted to addiction recovery-related coverage. Initially our team of financial advisers will work with you to determine whether or not your insurance provider will help cover the cost. If you have no insurance or your insurance has run out we will work with you to figure out a viable and reasonable alternative. Fortunately Immersion Recovery Center offers a self-pay option for all your detox and recovery needs. Whatever your personal circumstances are, we are dedicated to helping you get the care you need with or without insurance.

There are several private pay options when it comes to medical detox and recovery services. If you do not have the ability to simply write a check this does not mean that our treatment services won’t be available to you. Our top priority is getting you help when you need it, even if that means getting somewhat creative financially. Take a look at the following options and give us a call with any additional questions you may have.

Zero-interest financing

Immersion Recovery Center has a relationship with M-Lend Financial that may be able to help cover the cost of treatment for clients who are uninsured or under-insured. Clients and their families may be able to obtain interest-free financing for one year or low-interest fixed rate financing for two years (eligibility for either is determined by the lending company). Our Drug & Alcohol Treatment Services Include

Private Pay Options for Recovery

  • Seek out a personal loan from a close friend or family member

Perhaps you have a close relative who has been advocating your recovery for quite some time – someone who is financially stable and might be willing to provide you with a personal, interest-free loan. While it never hurts to ask, make absolutely sure that you are being sincere and that you are willing to do whatever it takes to get clean and sober. You can only ask for a loan from someone you know so many times before all of your interpersonal resources get cut off. Also, remember that your actions while in active addiction might make this option unrealistic. If you consistently stole money from your loved ones in order to support your habit (for example), you might have a more difficult time convincing them that this time you mean business. Take all of these factors into account before requesting financial aid from someone close to you.

  • Seek out a personal medical loan from your financial establishment

Your credit union, bank, or another financial establishment may be able to offer you a personal medical loan to help cover the cost of medical detox and recovery. Financial companies offer financing options when it comes to medical necessities and addiction treatment is considered essential by all standards. You may also want to look into getting a credit card. Many credit card companies will offer deferred interest plans or low interest rates when it comes to essential medical expenses like medical detox and other recovery programs.

  • Look into acquiring a secured medical loan

A secured medical loan is also an option. Applying for such a loan will require you to put down some collateral upfront. This collateral does imply more competitive rates, though in order to obtain such a loan you must have a good credit score,  good credit history and be in generally good financial standing. Your lender will also look into your financial background and determine whether or not you have any outstanding and significant debt so be prepared for that.

  • Set up a payment plan with one of our financial advisers

We understand that it isn’t always possible to pay the entire amount upfront. Addiction is a far-reaching disease, one that compromises all aspects of life and leads to serious self-destructive behaviors. At Immersion Recovery Center we understand that financial insecurity goes hand-in-hand with years of drug abuse and alcoholism. Not only is supporting a chemical dependency extremely costly, but those in the throes of active addiction are rarely able to focus on budgeting or saving. We will do everything in our power to make the process as easy and straightforward as possible.

  • Ask about additional financing options

There are many options available when it comes to self paying for medical detox and recovery services. Our main goal is helping you get the treatment you need as quickly as possible. To learn more about our self-pay options and other means of financing treatment just give us a call and we will be happy to help you out.

Addiction VS. Treatment – Value

Addiction is a devastating and destructive disease; one that completely destroys the life of the addict and of his or her family. Although looking at the financial side of things might seem overwhelming at first there are many people available to help who understand that your health and happiness are the ultimate investment. Take into account how much active addiction actually costs you on a daily basis. Not only do you constantly need to fund your habit by forking over huge sums of money in order to obtain your drug of choice, but you miss out on a wide range of opportunities that you may not even be aware of having. You miss out on career advancements, on spending invaluable time with loved ones, on family vacations and weddings and parties and anniversary celebrations. In active addiction you miss out on life. If you take addiction recovery seriously and become completely willing to do what it takes to get and stay sober you will never have to worry about living up to your full potential again. You will have an entirely new lease on life and you will be capable of anything.
