Immersion Recovery Center works closely with most major insurers, including Independence BCBS, to ease the financial burden of detoxification, inpatient and outpatient therapy, and aftercare services. Our goal is to get you into recovery as soon as possible, and to provide life-saving hope when all else seems lost. We aim to break down any barriers that may delay your decision to begin your recovery, and it begins with easing your worries about the financial commitment involved in receiving treatment.

Independence BCBS understands addiction and recovery. Every Independence BCBS member has access to life-saving substance abuse recovery benefits as an essential health benefit. Whether your plan is an HMO, PPO, EPO, or is through Medicare or Medicaid, your benefits extend to your treatment at Immersion Recovery. In addition, your Independence BCBS plan may cover family and relationship therapy, and treatment for underlying issues such as depression, stress, and anxiety. Independence understands that long term recovery is most successful when care goes beyond detox and medication-assisted treatment. Through your Behavioral Health benefits, Independence BCBS will be by your side through each step of your recovery.

Exactly how much of your treatment is covered, and what your final out-of-pocket expenses may be, depends on several factors. Your plan’s deductible is the amount that you are responsible for paying before your insurance benefits begin. Your co-pay amount is a one-time fee associated with a particular service or procedure. These amounts will vary for each individual plan. Once your deductible is met and your insurance benefits begin, there is no annual or lifetime limit on the remainder of cost that Independence BCBS will cover. All deductibles and co-pays for your substance abuse treatment must be at least as favorable as those for your routine medical expenses.

Our Drug & Alcohol Treatment Services Include

Each of our programs at Immersion Recovery blends a 12-step approach based on the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous, with cognitive behavioral therapy and complementary modalities, including family and individual counseling. In addition to detoxification or related medications, your Independence BCBS plan may also cover some, or all, of the costs associated with these inpatient rehab services, and outpatient rehab programs. Some programs may require pre-authorization from Independence BCBS and your primary care provider. Immersion Recovery will work with you to ensure that all necessary pre-approvals are received.
